A 24-hour Crisis Line that offers emotional support, and information about domestic violence, sexual assault and other community resources. The Crisis Line and ProTEXTion text lines are answered by trauma informed staff.
Our shelter is a place of safety, respite, hope and healing for survivors of intimate partner violence and their dependent children. Our shelter includes accessible bathrooms, five large bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and a quiet room for solitude.
Non-residential services help navigate the lasting effects survivors endure whether involved in an abusive relationship or recovering from one. Services include survivor support, safety planning, legal assistance, housing support, and access to support groups.
Advocates provide education about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault, and assist with understanding responses to trauma. Services are available for residential and non-residential survivors. Advocates work to empower survivors to meet their goals by providing referrals to community resources.
A safety plan is an essential tool to help prepare survivors for any circumstance where they may encounter their abuser. Advocates are available to work with survivors on the uniqueness of their situation.
Advocates listen to survivors to understand their legal needs, and provide appropriate referrals to community service providers. Upon request, legal accompaniment may be provided.
Assistance with locating and securing safe and affordable housing. Advocates will provide referrals to community resources for housing.
Support groups are available for survivors of domestic intimate partner violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.
